One to one with Helen

As my recent blog posts have been quite lengthy, I wanted to keep this one short and concise.

A Summary of my call

Keep reusing our literature from module 2 - deepen understanding.

Use varied sources -

  •  Ted Talks
  • Articles
  • Interviews
  • Books
  • Journals
  • Research
  • Biographies

Narrative approach to analysis -

This suits me much more, as I am not great at Maths - the thought of pie charts and percentages quite frankly just fills be with dread!
So being able to write up my findings in a descriptive was is much more relevant to me.

Survey - Use more open ended questions.

Our literature is a map
And the literature we find takes us down different routes on our journey and will help us discover which way our journey will take us.

Think about how people could have been faced with a challenging role model, how did they overcome this?

Be careful with definitions - role model and teacher (these vary)

When discussing research tools in our Evaluation of Inquiry Process we are talking about how they went and what we did - not what the results were.
When discussing ethics in this section we are discussing any problems we encountered or if not, just clarifying the steps we took to ensure it was ethical.
